Changchun High-tech Announcement: The subsidiary JinSai Pharmaceutical GenSci 144 tablets have received approval for the registration of clinical trials for domestically produced drugs. GenSci 144 tablets are a self-developed oral small molecule inhibitor targeting the neutral amino acid transporter protein SLC6A19 by JinSai Pharmaceutical, intended for the treatment of phenylketonuria (PKU). PKU is an autosomal recessive genetic disease caused by a defect in the phenylalanine hydroxylase gene, leading to a disorder in phenylalanine metabolism, resulting in hyperphenylalaninemia. The global newborn screening rate is approximately 1:23930, while in China it is about 1:11000.
