Token consumption is expected to experience exponential growth, with consumption projected to increase over 300 times by the year 2030.

Alipay held the AI Payment Ecology Conference today. At the meeting, Zhuang Fan, dean of the Ant Group Research Institute, said: "Digital resources such as tokens, data, and tools have become the most important factors of production. Tokens, data, and tools are essential fuels, sensors, and limbs for intelligent entities." He predicted: "Token consumption will experience exponential growth, with Token consumption expected to increase by over 300 times by 2030, with 2.2 billion active intelligent entities performing tasks up to 400 trillion times a year."
