Crack down on "ghost delivery" Shanghai launches the country's first online food and beverage electronic license verification application.
On May 26th, Shanghai launched the country's first online catering electronic license verification application, establishing a full set of digital management loop from merchant application to platform display of certificates, aiming to achieve source control of "ghost delivery" phenomena. With the approval of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Shanghai Market Supervision Bureau, relying on the electronic business license system, has pioneered a pilot program nationwide to break through the data barriers between regulatory departments, platforms, and merchants, and establish a trusted verification mechanism of "real people, real certificates, real stores". Compared to the traditional management model of one-way data supply by the government, manual comparison by platforms, and reactive handling of problems, this reform, through establishing a mechanism of government-enterprise data exchange, two-way comparison, and collaborative governance, will transform platforms from passive "order reviewers" to proactive "co-governors".
