According to data from Qichacha, in the past decade, the number of chip-related enterprises registered in China has increased year by year. In 2025, a total of 87,000 chip-related enterprises were registered in China, setting a new record for the past decade. In terms of regional distribution, in 2025, the highest number of newly registered chip-related enterprises were located in the southern region of China, accounting for 34.5% of the total. As of May 26, 2026, there were already 33,000 chip-related enterprises registered in China for the year 2026. In terms of existing enterprises, as of May 26, 2026, there are over 410,000 chip-related enterprises in China.
