Paul Saint-Pasteur of Payden & Rygel stated in a report that despite escalating geopolitical uncertainties, ongoing inflation concerns, and changing global growth expectations, global fixed income markets continue to offer highly attractive opportunities for long-term investors. "Fixed income can once again generate considerable returns through carry, meaning investors no longer need to rely solely on falling yields and capital appreciation to generate returns," the director and global fixed income strategist said. He noted that although volatility may persist in the near term, "the high initial yield provides bond investors with the most attractive entry point in years."
