This year, Xiamen Port, the fastest in history, has welcomed more than one million travelers from both sides.

According to the data from the Gaoqi Border Inspection Station of Xiamen Border Inspection General Station, as of 10:00 a.m. on May 26, the number of cross-strait travelers at Xiamen Port has exceeded 1 million so far this year, a year-on-year increase of over 20%, breaking the record for the fastest number of arrivals exceeding one million in history. Among them, the number of inbound and outbound passengers on the Xiamen-Jinmen "small three links" route exceeded 800,000, an increase of nearly 25% year-on-year, becoming the core channel for cross-strait personnel exchanges. Currently, Xiamen Port is connected to three cross-strait direct passenger routes, with 24 round-trip sailings on the Xiamen-Jinmen "small three links" route per day. After the implementation of ten policies and measures to promote cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, Xiamen has launched the "First-time visitors to Taiwan service package" and simultaneously connected with cross-provincial tourism resources, linking unique cultural and tourism routes in Xiamen and Jinmen to continuously revitalize the cross-strait tourism market.
