The meeting emphasized the need to focus on innovation, target cutting-edge food science and technology, and key technologies, accelerate the transformation and application of research results, and consolidate the foundation of technical support. It also highlighted the need to focus on governance, actively participate in authoritative popular science programs such as "Food Safety in China" and food safety propaganda week activities, take the initiative to speak out and clarify doubts, widely consolidate social consensus, and promote a new level of food safety guarantee.
