UBS is of the view that the A-share market is positioned as the primary storage of wealth for Chinese residents, and is becoming a new alternative to real estate in the long term. UBS Securities China stock strategist Meng Lei wrote in a report that the broad technology sector remains the most important growth theme in the near term. Profit growth and continued capital inflows may further drive potential for upward movement. Optimistic about growth stocks in a "slow bull" environment, while also favoring cyclical sectors benefiting from the rebound in PPI and industrial enterprise profits.
