National Development and Reform Commission: has never demanded that Chinese technology companies cannot accept foreign investment.
On May 22, the National Development and Reform Commission held a press conference. At the meeting, Li Chao, Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated that opening up to the outside world is a fundamental national policy of China. We support Chinese enterprises in integrating into the global innovation network, engaging in mutually beneficial international exchanges and cooperation, and have never required Chinese technology companies to reject foreign investment. At the same time, foreign investment must also comply with Chinese laws and regulations and must not harm China's national security and interests. China's doors of opening up will only become wider. We will continue to thoroughly implement the Foreign Investment Law and its implementation regulations, continue to create a market-oriented, rule-of-law, internationalized business environment, and enhance risk prevention and control.
