The hot construction of AI data centers has triggered a "price and demand rise" in the optical fiber industry. In the past year, the price of traditional optical fibers has increased sixfold. A reporter from the Shanghai Securities Journal noticed that, in this wave, many optical fiber companies have shifted their focus to data centers, no longer just selling optical fibers, but upgrading their strategic positioning by providing high-end interconnection products such as optical modules, and moving from supplying raw materials to constructing "computing power bases".
