Chinese universities won both first and second place in the 13th World University Supercomputer Contest.
On May 20th, the 13th ASC World University Student Supercomputer Competition Finals concluded in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. This competition attracted 25 university teams from around the world to compete in cutting-edge fields such as quantum computing and artificial intelligence. After 5 days of intense competition, Peking University and Tsinghua University won the championship and runner-up in the finals. It is understood that this international university student supercomputing competition initiated by China has attracted more than 10,000 university students worldwide, providing a practical training platform for young technology talents in the AI era.
