Basic telecommunications enterprise online business hall service national standard released.
The State Administration for Market Regulation has approved the release of the National Standard for the "Regulations on Online Business Hall Services for Basic Telecommunication Enterprises in the Telecommunications and Internet Services Industry", which regulates the entire process of online business halls in the form of websites and mobile apps for telecommunication services, covering various service links such as business promotion, sales, and management. In terms of information transparency, the standard focuses on the real, accurate, complete, and clear content of online business hall business promotion and emphasizes key issues such as fee standards, service content, application scope, rules of use, preferential policies, online period, cancellation methods, breach of contract responsibilities, and restrictive conditions on the same page prominently. It prohibits the use of misleading terms such as "0 yuan", "free", "unlimited", "permanent", which may cause user misunderstanding, and prohibits the concealment or dilution of restrictive conditions through folding, hidden, or blurry forms. In terms of user convenience, the standard requires online business halls to provide users with navigation services in the form of keyword search and page menu; the entrance to the business consultation service should be placed in a prominent position on the page for easy access by users; the prominent sections of the interface should be located in visible positions, the interface color should not be abrupt, and should not contain difficult or rare words. In terms of barrier-free services, the standard proposes that online business halls should provide user-friendly interface designs, such as providing elderly-friendly pages for the elderly, ensuring that there are no pop-up ads on the page, and providing pages in languages other than Chinese for non-Chinese native speakers. In terms of personal information protection, the standard states that online business halls should obtain user authorization and consent when collecting and using personal information, adopt encryption, desensitization, access control, and other technical means during data use to prevent illegal access, tampering, or misuse of data. The standard also sets requirements for service hours, service efficiency, complaints and feedback mechanisms of online business halls, aiming to guide basic telecommunication enterprises to continuously optimize online business hall services and comprehensively enhance user experience.
