McDonald's: Some climate goals cannot be achieved on time, will invest $1 billion in supply chain resilience projects.

McDonald's released a statement on May 19th stating that they are currently unable to achieve some of their 2030 climate goals as originally planned, but they are still committed to their long-term vision of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050. Therefore, McDonald's plans to invest at least $1 billion over the next decade to support supply chain resilience projects such as regenerative agriculture.
