Nanjing accelerates the construction of the "AI+" leading city: making the development of artificial intelligence a top priority.

On May 18th, the Nanjing Special News Release Conference "Starting the '13th Five-Year Plan' on the Right Foot" was held, introducing the Nanjing "13th Five-Year Plan" Outline and the key tasks and initiatives of the inaugural year. At the conference, "artificial intelligence" became a high-frequency term. Nanjing proposed to prioritize the development of artificial intelligence, accelerate the construction of a "leading city for artificial intelligence+" with national influence and global competitiveness. Looking towards the "13th Five-Year Plan," Nanjing will continue to deepen the key variable of artificial intelligence, promote the coordinated development of technology, industry, applications, and ecosystems along the entire chain, strengthen efficient supply of computing power, algorithms, data, and more. On one hand, the focus will be on the coordinated development of software and hardware, actively promoting "artificial intelligence + software" and transforming software companies into artificial intelligence service providers and developers of intelligent bodies; at the same time, efforts will be made to cultivate independent brands of smart terminals such as intelligent robots and smart wearable devices, and build a demonstration area for artificial intelligence terminal applications. On the other hand, the focus will be on landing in diverse scenarios, focusing on the dual efforts of "intelligent industrialization" and "industrial intelligence", targeting key industries such as steel, automobiles, and electronics, striving to release 200 benchmark artificial intelligence scenarios and 50 industrial typical demonstration scenarios every year. In addition, the focus will be on building a complete ecosystem, targeting enterprise development and OPC entrepreneurial needs, providing more inclusive computing power, continuously deepening resource coordination such as data and electricity networks, building a city of computing power cluster centers and Tokens; leveraging the guiding role of the artificial intelligence industry fund cluster, comprehensively constructing an artificial intelligence industry development ecosystem with integrated elements such as talent, technology, and finance.
