The Liaoning aircraft carrier fleet of the Navy is heading to the Western Pacific to conduct training activities.

On May 19th, the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy organized the Liaoning aircraft carrier formation to sail to relevant areas in the Western Pacific Ocean for training. During this training, they will conduct long-range tactical flights, live-fire exercises, support and cover operations, comprehensive rescue drills, and other subjects to test and improve the level of combat training of the troops. This is a routine training organized according to the annual plan, aimed at continuously improving the ability to fulfill missions, and is in accordance with relevant international laws and practices.
