The government of Abu Dhabi, UAE, stated on the 17th that a generator outside the Barakah nuclear power plant in the Zafar region of the UAE caught fire after being attacked by a drone, causing no casualties and no impact on radiation safety levels. The Barakah nuclear power plant is the UAE's first nuclear power plant, which began operation in August 2020.
