Intelligent IP Wide Area Network Application Promotion and China Tour officially launched.

On May 16, 2026, the 2026 World Telecommunication and Information Society Day Conference was held in Wuhan. At the "AI Intelligent Network and Application Symposium," the China AI Industry Development Alliance Information and Communication Industry AI Innovation Promotion Committee, China Information and Communication Research Institute, China Communications Standardization Association, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and other industry partners jointly launched the "Intelligent IP Wide Area Network Application Promotion" initiative and activities in China. The initiative will be based on the innovative practices of basic telecommunications companies, focusing on four major areas: first, empowering industry enterprises with low cost and high efficiency using elastic and efficient enterprise AI networks; second, promoting innovation in various computing services for smart homes with flexible and fast edge AI networks; third, supporting distributed training, reasoning, and other new artificial intelligence formats with high-speed and lossless new urban networks; fourth, supporting efficient circulation and management of data elements with secure and reliable high-speed data networks.
