Today, it was learned from China National Nuclear Corporation that the Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant has surpassed 400 billion kilowatt-hours of safe electricity generation, injecting strong momentum into the energy security and green low-carbon development of the southeast coast. This is equivalent to the electricity consumption of 80 million ordinary households in a year. From the perspective of replacing thermal power generation, it is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 120 million tons, and planting approximately 2.8 billion trees.
