On Friday in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury benchmark bond rose by 11.18 basis points to 4.5934%, nearing the peak of 4.6247% on May 22, 2025, and the peak of 4.8069% on January 14 of that year. It has risen by a total of 23.92 basis points this week, marking the fifth consecutive week of increase and a cumulative increase of 88.52 basis points since trading ended on April 17. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond rose by 5.16 basis points to 4.0687%, reaching 4.0856% at 02:06 Beijing time, nearing the peak of 4.0592% on May 14, 2025, the peak of 4.4214% on January 13 of that year, and the highest intraday level of 5.2571% on October 19, 2023. It has risen by 18.42 basis points this week.
