China Coal Energy announced that in April 2026, the production of commercial coal was 10.02 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.3%, with a total of 40.19 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.5%; the sales volume of commercial coal was 20.42 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.2%, with a total of 76.44 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3%. The production and sales volume of products such as polyethylene, urea, and methanol increased or decreased to varying degrees, while the production and sales volume of ammonium nitrate decreased significantly, with a year-on-year decrease of 62.3% in production and 56.4% in sales. The output value of coal mining equipment in April was 660 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 16.5%, with a total of 2.86 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 10.9%.
