May 12th: The "Farm Product Wholesale Price Index" has decreased by 0.04 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on May 12, the "Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products 200" was 115.44, a decrease of 0.04 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" wholesale price index was 115.91, a decrease of 0.05 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average prices of pork, beef, mutton, eggs, and white strip chicken in the national agricultural product wholesale market were 14.88 yuan/kg, 66.37 yuan/kg, 64.09 yuan/kg, 9.08 yuan/kg, and 17.09 yuan/kg, respectively. Compared to yesterday, prices decreased by 0.7%, 0.2%, 0.4%, and increased by 1.5% and 0.8%, respectively. The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.20 yuan/kg, a 0.9% decrease from yesterday, while the average price of the 6 key monitored fruits was 7.79 yuan/kg, a 2.1% increase from yesterday. The prices of carp, crucian carp, grass carp, and largehead hairtail were 20.24 yuan/kg, 14.86 yuan/kg, 10.53 yuan/kg, and 41.47 yuan/kg, respectively, changing by 1.0%, -0.3%, 1.9%, and 0.4% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 key monitored varieties of domestically produced fresh agricultural products in the wholesale market, the top five with the highest price increases compared to yesterday are pineapples, Kyoho grapes, grass carp, crucian carp, and eggs, with increases of 5.3%, 4.4%, 1.9%, 1.6%, and 1.5%, respectively. The top five with the highest price decreases are Chinese cabbage, cucumber, leeks, green peppers, and tomatoes, with decreases of 4.4%, 3.7%, 2.7%, 1.9%, and 1.6%, respectively.
