According to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, in order to serve cycling enthusiasts who wish to bring their bikes on public transport, the transportation department has conducted in-depth field research and drawn on the mature experience of advanced domestic cities. Starting from May 10th, a pilot program called "Railway + Cycling" will be launched at 11 stations on four lines including Line 6, Line 17, Changping Line, and S1 Line. Passengers will be allowed to bring bicycles with a wheel diameter not exceeding 28 inches into the stations. The pilot program will operate throughout the day on weekends. In terms of ticketing, the pilot program will implement a special diversified ticket pricing for cycling, with a flat rate of 30 yuan per ride. This price includes the passenger and one bicycle with single-pass access on the designated line for the day, without time restrictions. Passengers can purchase tickets for regular weekends within the next 30 calendar days through the "Yitongxing (Easy Traffic) App". Unused tickets can be refunded online, and if not used by the specified date, will be automatically refunded with the ticket amount returned through the original channel.
