Smart Finance APP News, China Merchants Securities (600999.SH) issued an announcement that the Board of Directors of the company received a written resignation letter from Mr. Huo Da, the Chairman of the company, on May 8, 2026. Due to job changes, Mr. Huo Da applied to resign from all positions including Chairman of the Eighth Board of Directors, Executive Director, convener and member of the Board of Directors Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee, and member of the Board of Directors Nomination Committee. After resigning, Mr. Huo Da will no longer serve as the legal representative of the company. Mr. Huo Da's resignation will take effect on the day the resignation letter is submitted to the Board of Directors.
