Transfer of residual waste drugs and reinforcement of damaged buildings related to the Liuyang fireworks factory explosion incident are currently underway.

On May 4th, an explosion occurred in the workshop of Huasheng Fireworks Manufacturing and Display Co., Ltd. in Liuyang City, Changsha, Hunan. After the accident, all fireworks and firecracker companies in Hunan province stopped production for rectification, and a comprehensive inspection and rectification of safety production risks and hidden dangers were carried out throughout the province. On the 6th, under the command of the emergency management department, local authorities organized professional personnel to start the transfer and disposal of remaining waste drugs and finished or semi-finished products at the scene. In addition, the Hunan Provincial Department of Housing and Construction also sent professional technical forces to carry out emergency disposal, repair, and strengthening of damaged houses.
