Rivian (RIVN.US) is considering partnering with a Chinese company to produce LiDAR sensors for autonomous driving, in direct competition with Tesla.

According to Zhidao Finance APP, RJ Scaringe, CEO of Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US), said in an interview on Tuesday that the company is considering producing its own LiDAR sensors and may collaborate with a Chinese company for production.
