To properly adjudicate cases involving compensation for damages in road traffic accidents, uphold the safety of people's lives and property and social harmony and stability in accordance with the law, the Supreme People's Court today issued the "Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Adjudication of Cases Involving Compensation for Damages in Road Traffic Accidents", which will come into effect on June 30, 2026.
