Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said in a speech in Sydney on Wednesday that the country will include a 100 billion Australian dollar fuel security and resilience package in the budget to be announced next week. The plan will allocate 75 billion Australian dollars for the construction of relevant facilities, increasing the supply and storage capacity of fuel and fertilizers. The government plans to hold about 1 billion liters of fuel reserves. At the same time, it will support the overall expansion of fuel reserves to ensure that diesel and aviation kerosene reserves can meet at least 50 days of supply demand. Funding support will be provided through various forms such as loans, equity investment, guarantees, insurance, and price subsidies.
