According to The Information, when Google announced last month that it would provide Anthropic with up to 5 gigawatts of server capacity, the specific amount of this commitment was not disclosed by both parties. However, according to a source familiar with the matter, as part of the agreement set to begin next year, Anthropic plans to pay Google approximately $200 billion over the next five years. This commitment means that Anthropic will account for over 40% of the "revenue backlog" total disclosed by Google to investors last week.
