Brockman stated that his holdings in OpenAI are worth close to $30 billion.
Greg Brockman, co-founder and president of OpenAI, said that his stake in OpenAI is currently worth close to $30 billion, making him one of the largest individual shareholders. Brockman confirmed this amount when he appeared in court for the first time on Monday in a highly publicized legal dispute between OpenAI and Elon Musk. During questioning in court, Brockman confirmed that his share of the company is worth over $20 billion, and when asked if it was "closer to $30 billion," he responded "yes." He also stated that he did not invest any personal funds into the startup company. Musk has accused Brockman and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman of deviating from OpenAI's original non-profit mission and using the project for personal gain. Musk is seeking various remedies, including removing Altman and Brockman from their leadership positions.
