According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, on May 4th, the Ministry of Transport released the national logistics smooth operation report from April 27th to May 3rd. From April 27th to May 3rd, the national railway transported 80.801 million tons of goods, an increase of 1.63% compared to the previous period; the number of trucks passing through national highways was 48.061 million, a decrease of 15.4% compared to the previous period; the monitored ports handled 278.234 million tons of goods, an increase of 7.64% compared to the previous period, and handled 6.947 million standard containers, an increase of 4.37% compared to the previous period; civil aviation ensured 123,000 flights (including 4,587 cargo flights, including 3,167 international cargo flights and 1,420 domestic cargo flights), an increase of 2.89% compared to the previous period; postal and express delivery collected about 3.637 billion items, a decrease of 7.74% compared to the previous period; and delivered about 3.743 billion items, a decrease of 4.93% compared to the previous period.
