The US military uses AI technology to clear mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S. Navy is working with Domino Data Lab to conduct mine sweeping operations in the Strait of Hormuz using artificial intelligence technology. According to the contract between the two parties, Domino Data Lab is training underwater drones to identify new types of sea mines through artificial intelligence technology. Domino Data Lab has stated that their technology can reduce the training time for underwater drones from 6 months to just a few days.
