The Japanese Yen trading volume through CME's FX Link product exceeded 92,000 contracts, setting a new historical record. The total trading volume of Japanese Yen options reached $4.2 billion. President Trump stated that the United States currently "will not leave" the Strait of Hormuz. He defended the U.S. blockade action and called it "very powerful." Trump said that the blockade measures are working and claimed that once the war is over, energy prices will significantly drop. "After this war ends, the prices of oil, natural gas, and everything else will plummet," he said. He also praised the record highs of the U.S. stock market and stated that all projects during his administration are being completed "on time" and "on budget."
