Airbus has successively won large orders in China.
China Southern Airlines announced on the 29th that the company and its holding subsidiary, Xiamen Airlines, signed an agreement with the European aerospace company Airbus to purchase 137 A320neo series aircraft, with a total catalog price of approximately $21.4 billion. In recent times, Airbus has received multiple large orders from China. As the world's largest aviation market, China has become the largest single country market for Airbus commercial aircraft. Airbus revealed that its market share in China has increased from approximately 20% in 2008 to over 50% now. On March 25th of this year, China Eastern Airlines signed an agreement with Airbus to purchase 101 A320neo series aircraft, with a total catalog price of $15.8 billion. On December 30th of last year, Air China, Spring Airlines, and Shanghai Joy Air all announced purchases from Airbus, buying 60 A320neo series aircraft, 30 A320neo series aircraft, and 25 A320 series aircraft respectively, with total catalog prices of $9.53 billion, $4.13 billion, and approximately $4.1 billion.
