Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a national meeting on the promotion of high-yield production of grain and oil crops in Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The meeting emphasized the importance of promoting high-yield production of grain and oil crops, and stressed the need to focus on increasing both yield and income, as well as improving production ecology. The meeting called for efforts to promote the integration of good land, good seeds, good opportunities, and good practices to increase efficiency. The meeting also highlighted the need to focus on 1000 counties and 20 cities for comprehensive promotion, leverage the role of new business entities as demonstration drivers, promote the large-scale application of new varieties, technologies, equipment, and models, and improve the implementation rate of key technologies. The meeting also emphasized the need to organize expert guidance teams, industry technology systems, technology small teams, and other professional forces to provide continuous technical demonstrations, guidance, and training services. Lastly, the meeting called for careful organization and implementation of projects to increase the yield of corn and soybeans, and the promotion of technologies such as integrated water and fertilizer management to increase yield and efficiency based on local conditions.
