Oneplus and Realme merge to establish a subsidiary business unit.
OPPO announced the establishment of a new subsidiary business division, with OPPO's senior vice president Li Bingzhong as the head of the division. This division includes the marketing support system for OnePlus and Realme, which will be supervised by the former Realme marketing support president Xu Qi, who has been appointed as the head of the subsidiary business division's marketing support. OPPO has also established a subsidiary product center, which includes domestic and international product departments, both unified under the leadership of the former OnePlus China president Li Jie, who will report to Liu Zuohu. The former Realme vice president Wang Wei has been appointed as the deputy general manager of the subsidiary product center, reporting to Li Jie. In addition, the former Realme research and development team has returned to the group, with departments such as imaging and hardware merging into OPPO, becoming departments under the original OPPO hardware division. It is reported that the brands OnePlus and Realme will still operate independently.
