The Cyberspace Administration has lawfully dealt with websites and platforms such as "Jianying" App for violating regulations on synthesized content identification.
Recently, the Internet information department found that the "CapCut," "Cat Box" app, and the "Instant Dream AI" website did not effectively implement the requirements for labeling synthetic content generated by artificial intelligence, violating laws such as the Cybersecurity Law, Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services, and Methods for Labeling Artificial Intelligence Generated Synthetic Content. The National Internet Information Office guided the local internet information office to take measures such as interviews, requiring corrections, warnings, and strict punishment of responsible persons for the mentioned websites. Officials from the National Internet Information Office stated that website platforms must strictly adhere to legal requirements for labeling artificial intelligence generated synthetic content. The internet information department will continue to enhance supervision of artificial intelligence generated synthetic content labeling in accordance with the law to protect social public interests and promote the healthy and orderly development of artificial intelligence.
