Dongguan holds a symposium for representatives of key Taiwanese-funded enterprises to accelerate the implementation of the ten measures of the Taiwan-related policies, and to ensure their effectiveness.

On April 24, 2026, Dongguan City held a forum for representatives of key Taiwanese-funded enterprises. Prior to the meeting, various departments in Dongguan conducted in-depth research on promoting the implementation of ten policy measures, forming preliminary work arrangements for implementing these measures. The main arrangements include: regularly hosting diverse and rich two-way youth exchange activities between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait; establishing a two-way youth exchange mechanism between Dongguan City and the Taoyuan City branch of the Chinese Nationalist Party; encouraging more Taiwanese agricultural and fishery products special zones to participate in Dongguan Taiwan Expo, Food Expo, and Pre-Expo for exhibition and sales; and exploring the establishment of a "fast track" for cross-strait food trade. After the meeting reported the above work arrangements, it triggered a warm response and active discussion among the Taiwanese businessmen present.
