"Nissan headquarters has set a very clear milestone for me: by the end of 2030, domestic sales must reach 1 million units. I remember that in 2018, the joint venture company sold 1.55 million units, with about 1.2 million units being Nissan brand. We have achieved this before, and the last time we achieved this result I was here, so it is achievable." Recently, Ma Zhiyin, member of the global executive committee of Nissan Motor Company and chairman of the China region, said in an interview with the media at the Beijing Auto Show. On April 14, Nissan Motor Company clearly stated in a new round of reform plans that the goal is to achieve a total sales volume of 2.55 million units in the three core markets of Japan, the United States, and China by fiscal year 2030, with the US and China markets each contributing 1 million units and the Japanese market contributing 550,000 units.
