Beijing will adjust the setup of two dedicated lanes for rapid transit buses starting today, allowing regular vehicles to pass through them for a limited time.

According to the joint announcement issued by the Beijing Municipal Transportation Committee and the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Management Bureau on further optimizing and adjusting the setting and management of bus lanes, starting today, the bus lanes on the BRT2 and BRT3 operating routes will be uniformly adjusted to be bus lanes from 7:00 to 9:00 and 17:00 to 19:00 on weekdays, and other times will be available for the passage of non-public transport vehicles.
