Armed conflict occurred in a national park in Sudan, resulting in the deaths of seven police officers.
On April 27th local time, the police in Sinnar State, central Sudan, issued a statement stating that on that day, a conflict occurred between the state police and armed militants in Dinder National Park, resulting in the deaths of 7 police officers. The statement said that police were carrying out routine patrol tasks in the park when they engaged in a shootout with a group of unidentified armed individuals.
