Shanghai Peak Cement: Intends to change the company's full name and stock abbreviation to "Shanghai Peak Materials"

Shangfeng Cement announced that the board of directors has approved the proposal to change the company's name and stock abbreviation. As the company's business structure has expanded from traditional cement to new materials, new energy, semiconductors, and other emerging fields, the original name cannot fully reflect the current business layout and development direction. The company plans to change its Chinese name from "Gansu Shangfeng Cement Co., Ltd." to "Gansu Shangfeng Materials Co., Ltd.", its stock abbreviation from "Shangfeng Cement" to "Shangfeng Materials", while the stock code "000672" remains unchanged. This change still needs to be submitted for approval at the company's 2025 annual general meeting, and can only be implemented after registration changes are completed by the market supervision and administration department and approved by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with some uncertainties. After the name change, the original rights and debts will be assumed by the renamed company.
