The Daqin Railway completed the spring concentrated maintenance construction for 2026 three days ahead of schedule.

The "China Heavy Load No. 1" Daqin Railway Spring 2026 centralized maintenance and construction project was successfully completed on April 27. The construction was completed 3 days ahead of the original plan, laying a solid foundation for the upcoming peak summer energy transportation. The Daqin Railway starts from Datong, Shanxi in the west and extends to Qinhuangdao, Hebei in the east, serving as a major channel for "transporting coal from Shanxi to other provinces in the east." It transports approximately 4 billion tons of coal annually, supplying coal to over 6,000 domestic enterprises in industries such as power generation and steel. Its users cover 26 provincial-level administrative regions nationwide.
