The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the summary evaluation of the key cities for the "Sail" action plan for 5G applications in 2025.

Through the evaluation of local organizations, verification of data from basic telecommunications enterprise groups, expert reviews, etc., a total of 20 cities including Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Cangzhou, Ordos, Harbin, Wenzhou, Taizhou, Wuhu, Quanzhou, Nanchang, Dezhou, Luoyang, Changsha, Zhuhai, Huizhou, Zhongshan, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, and Xi'an have made breakthroughs in terms of traffic improvement, connection scale, application innovation, network construction, policy measures, etc. It is required that all departments strengthen the promotion of experience results, create a good development environment, and continuously promote the high-quality development of the economy and society through the empowerment of 5G.
