The 2026 Beijing Auto Show will be held from April 24th to May 3rd. This year's auto show will bring together over 1,500 participating companies and 1,451 exhibition cars, with the scale of the exhibition and the number of new car releases reaching a new global high. According to incomplete statistics from iResearch, there are over 200 models equipped with LiDAR on display, including domestic and international mainstream brands such as BYD, Geely, Volkswagen, and Nissan. In terms of brand distribution, the rate of models equipped with LiDAR from Speedmax reaches 42.3%, with over 80 models equipped, covering mainstream models from Geely, Xikang, Zhiji, Volkswagen, Toyota, and ranking first in terms of equipped quantity; Hesai Technology and Huawei have equipped rates of 27.9% and 19.9% respectively. According to data from the High-End Intelligent Automobile Research Institute, by 2025, the penetration rate of front-installed LiDAR in the Chinese passenger car market has exceeded 11.15%.
