Iraqi Vice President: Emphasize Learning from China's Experience to Promote Development.

Adnan Fahhan, the first deputy speaker of the Iraqi National Assembly, said on the 26th that the "Road to Development" project is an important strategic support point for Iraq to become a bridge between the economic corridors of the East and the West. The Iraqi side attaches great importance to learning from China's experience in promoting the implementation of this project. Fahhan said in a statement that the "Road to Development" project will help maximize the use of national resources and greatly promote development and investment. He emphasized that China's experience should be fully utilized to accelerate the progress of the project. In 2023, the Iraqi government announced an investment of $17 billion to create a "Road to Development" connecting Turkey and crossing the Eurasian continent, in order to optimize and upgrade transportation infrastructure, promote the transportation of goods and people, and promote regional exchange and cooperation.
