The Republic of the Congo announces the list of new government members.
On the evening of the 24th, the presidential palace of the Republic of Congo announced the list of new government members on national television. According to the announcement, in addition to Prime Minister Makoso, who was reappointed by President Sassou, the new government also includes one deputy prime minister, three ministers of state, and 37 ministers. Among them, Jean-Jacques Bouya, former Minister of Land Management and Large-Scale Projects, was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister, responsible for coordinating, developing infrastructure, and land management affairs; Pierre Oba, former Minister of Mines and Geology, was appointed as Minister of State for the Presidency, responsible for government affairs; Claude Alphons Nsony, former Minister of Trade, Supply, and Consumption, was appointed as Minister of State for Construction, Urban Planning, and Housing; and Pierre Mabiala, former Minister of Land Affairs and State Property Management, was appointed as Minister of State for Civil Service, Labor, and Social Dialogue.
