This year, China has increased its efforts to crack down on the "invoice economy", and the results are beginning to show. According to information from the State Administration of Taxation, in the first quarter of this year, the invoicing amounts in six industries where illegally attracting foreign investment is more concentrated, such as waste resource utilization, recycled materials recovery, wholesale of mineral products, building materials and chemical products, organizational management services, information technology consulting services, and road freight services, decreased by 4.4% year-on-year. This decrease is 3.1 percentage points higher than the previous year's annual decrease. In particular, the efforts in the central region have been particularly effective, with a 6.7% year-on-year decrease in invoicing amounts in these six industries.
