National Bureau of Statistics: Prices of 23 products rose in mid-April, with the price of live pigs dropping by 1.1% compared to the previous period.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, monitoring of the market prices of 50 important production materials in 9 categories in the circulation sector nationwide showed that in mid-April 2026, compared to early April, prices of 23 products increased, 26 decreased, and 1 remained unchanged. Among them, the price of live pigs was 9.0 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.1% month-on-month; the prices of electrolytic copper and sulfuric acid both increased by 5% compared to the previous month.
