The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index is up 1.5%, breaking through the 10,000-point mark to achieve a record-breaking 17 consecutive gains. Among the component stocks, Texas Instruments surged more than 14% after its performance, while ON Semiconductor rose more than 6%. AMD and NXP both rose more than 4%, and Microchip Technology and Intel both rose more than 3%.
