The National Health Commission and 15 other departments issued the "Injury Prevention and Control Action Plan". It mentions that by 2030, the knowledge and skills of injury prevention and control will be widely disseminated among the population, the construction of safe home and public environments will steadily advance, the comprehensive use of safety products will be promoted, the construction of injury prevention and control related regulations and standards system will be further strengthened, the professional personnel's ability in injury prevention and control and trauma treatment will be further improved, and effective control will be achieved for injuries, disabilities, and deaths in key populations. The plan proposes to promote the provision of first aid kits, automated external defibrillators, and other first aid equipment in public places such as airports, train stations, subway stations, and sports venues. It will also extensively carry out emergency first aid training focusing on CPR and trauma care in communities, rural areas, schools, enterprises, and government agencies, in order to enhance the public's awareness and capability in on-site safety rescue and emergency first aid for injuries.
